1st Semester Awards Presentation
The First Semester Awards Assembly for 6th Grade will be held on Friday, February 3rd from 8-9 AM. Parents are welcome to attend and cheer on the students.
The following awards will be presented:
- High Flyer Award (Highest Grade Point Average)
- Each teacher may award one certificate for each subject taught for the semester
- Soaring Eagle Award (Up to 3 per team – Nominated by two or more teachers)
- Encompasses most PBIS character traits, polite to peers and teachers, willingness to work with others, is a team player, and puts others before themselves.
- BUG Award (Brought Up Grades by two letter grades)
- Each Core teacher may give an award by subject for students that have brought up their grades by two (2) letter grades.
- Upward Bound Award
- Students who have raised their grades by one letter grade in Core Classes.
