1st Semester Awards Presentation

The First Semester Awards Assembly for 6th Grade will be held on Friday, February 3rd from 8-9 AM.  Parents are welcome to attend and cheer on the students.

The following awards will be presented:

• High Flyer Award (Highest Grade Point Average)
  • Each teacher may award one certificate for each subject taught for the semester
• Soaring Eagle Award (Up to 3 per team  – Nominated by two or more teachers)
  • Encompasses most PBIS character traits, polite to peers and teachers, willingness to work with others, is a team player, and puts others before themselves.
•  BUG Award (Brought Up Grades by two letter grades)
  • Each Core teacher may give an award by subject for students that have brought up their grades by two (2) letter grades.
• Upward Bound Award
  • Students who have raised their grades by one letter grade in Core Classes.

PBIS Celebration Day

Today is our PBIS (Postivie Behavior Intervention Support) Celebration.  Student who earned at least 8 tickets are enjoying game rooms, the gym, and the media center.  Congratulations to all who achieved this celebration.
